[ENG] I admit, I miss Italian food, and I will miss even more at Christmas (and maybe, maybe even a little bit its atmosphere). But if there’s one thing I miss even more now, right now, it’s my Vespa! In summary, last week I was at the border with Burundi, but the Rwandan police decided that my old passport was no longer valid (the reasons I will tell you another time … anyway, not too bad, I had only one page available). So I had to return to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, to get a new Burundian visa on my new passport. I avoid to boring you telling about my week between Immigration police, Interpol, Burundi embassy, and return to tanzania border. For an act of piety, I let my Vespa resting at the home of a friend of mine near the border with Burundi, from where I would have to go over again. So now I’m leaving Kigali for the second time on this trip. On a minibus. In the first row of seats, next to the driver (in whose hands I put my life). Which is the most inconvenient, because there is no space for the legs. It’s hot, very hot when you have the engine at 40cm from the bottom. And there is an unknown number of humans, crammed. Okay, it is the latest of the problems in Africa, but just to say that maybe tomorrow I’m going to Burundi to spend my second holy African green Christmas, and to say that I miss my Ardimentosa! We will update from Burundi, one of the 5 poorest countries in the world 😞, as well as one of the least for safety standards, but where I want really to spend my Christmas olé! Be fine and say hello to the polar ice.PS in the meantime my neighbor has taken off his shoes. I’ve already written that I miss my Vespa?
